The rules of the road for using SwaanStay. Please read carefully — using the platform means you agree.
1. Acceptance
By creating an account or using SwaanStay (web or mobile), you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the platform.
2. Eligibility
You must be 18+ and legally capable of entering a contract under Indian law. Hotels partners must be legally registered businesses with valid GST/PAN.
3. Bookings, bids & payments
- A bid from a hotel is a binding offer for the stated dates and rooms.
- Once you confirm and pay, the booking is locked. Cancellation follows the hotel's posted policy (visible before confirmation).
- All prices are shown in INR and include applicable GST (12% on room tariff below ₹7,500; 18% at or above).
- Payments are processed through Razorpay. SwaanStay never stores your full card / UPI credentials.
4. Refunds
Refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5-7 working days as per the hotel's cancellation policy. Wallet credits are non-transferable and expire 12 months after last use.
5. Fair use
No scraping, no fake bookings, no impersonation, no abuse of coupons/referral programs. Violations may lead to account suspension and forfeiture of wallet balance.
6. Liability
SwaanStay is a marketplace. The actual stay contract is between you and the hotel. Our maximum liability is capped at the amount you paid for the specific booking in dispute.
7. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Bengaluru have exclusive jurisdiction.
